Custom foot orthoses
because only the best may be enough for us....
Using our huge experience in lower biomechanics and orthoses manufacture, we can provide various types of custom-designed orthoses (insoles) targeted at improving a person’s gait (walking pattern). Customised because we believe that each and every foot is different and the needs will vary depending on several factors. Would you wear spectacles designed for someone else? The same with orthoses. Although on the outside they may look the same, what is on the inside is what actually matters
We can apply the best manufacturing technique for your presenting problem. No problem is too small because, given the cyclical nature of human walking – i.e. repetitive stress that occurs around 10,000 times a day during walking – any condition can become highly significant, affecting your quality of life. It’s no joke walking on painful feet – whatever the cause!
Our manufacturing techniques can vary between vacuum forming of plastics, CADCAM design and milling of various densities of EVA (ethylene vynle acetate) to 3D printed orthoses. We have been working for the past 10 years with milling technology, and for the past 6 years with 3D printed orthoses because we believe that this is the ultimate technology that will be at the forefront of orthoses technology – especially now with respect to ecological issues where we want to encourage the use of environment-friendly materials.
3D printed orthotic manufactured from a special recyclable material.
Using this robust yet flexible print material it enables us to provide a supportive orthotic to give maximum control but provide soft flexibility in the areas of the orthotic required to give comfort.
Our 3D printed orthotics do not require top covers, are waterproof and breathable with the added benefit of being manufactured from recyclable materials
Benefits of 3D printed devices
Waterproof – Can be worn during sporting activities without slipping
Recyclable – Better for the environment
Breathable – Allow air to circulate
